Tekla Structural Designer product bulletin July 2016 (PBTSD-1607-02)

Résumé of Issue The issue affects punching shear checks for the Head code EC EN 1992-1-1:2004. Where both transfer moment and shear exist, and the shear value is negative (for example where a column is supported on a transfer slab), a value of magnification factor β < 1.0 can be calculated which can produce an incorrect and un-conservative result for the check. Occurrence This issue relates to all releases of TSD up to and including TSD 2016 Service Pack 1 (version 16.0.1.45).
