Question

I have validated the model / run the analysis and designed using Design All (Static), however, when I go to the Tabular review data, I am unable to review wind drift tables for any combinations. Why?

Answer

Check if your combinations include wind load service cases

If no service wind load cases exist in the combination, then you will not see any combination results in the wind drift table.

In the screencapture below, although the Combinations title has the name for Wind load in them, if you review what is included in the combination, they do not exist for either strength or service in this example.

As an example if we;
  1. Include a wind load case in the combination
  2. Ensure that service is being request. This is because wind drift is checked for wind load cases and service combinations

Note: You would also require strength to be checked, if the wind load case also needs to be considered for strength checks (ultimate limit state). It has been excluded here to reinforce the point.

We can then see this combination available to us when we review the Review view > Tabular Data > Wind Drift table.
