Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit©
The following topics highlight the changes and enhancements in
- Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit© 2017 version 3.02.
- Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit© 2016 version 2.03.
Foundation Objects Included
The Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit now imports the following Foundation objects from Tekla Structural Designer.
- Foundation mats, pile caps, other bases as slabs
- Piles (under foundation mats & under pile caps) as columns
For round-tripping, these objects can be exported back to Tekla Structural Designer.
Vertical Offsets for Slab Items
The Integrator now takes into account any vertical offsets defined in Tekla Structural Designer for slab items. The offset is retained for export back to Tekla Structural Designer when round-tripping.
Tekla-Elbow Column Family Improved
For certain sets of parameters, a warning would be generated when importing from Tekla Structural Designer, such as:-
Warning : Can't make type "Tekla-Elbow : L 400x400x200/200". Failing Marks and Ids - (437985)
The family has been improved so the correct shape is generated.
User Defined Attributes Names
The names of certain User defined attributes, (UDAs) were corrupted during the import process, e.g. "+F" and "-F". This has been corrected.
Rebar Information for USA models
The parameter RC_Stirrup is now imported into Revit when relevant.
Chinese Families added to the Tekla Library
Families have been added to the Tekla Library to match the steel sections supported in Tekla Structural Designer.
At the moment, it is still necessary to override the Mapping for Columns and Framing.
Other minor issues have been addressed based on your feedback. Thank you.
